An American actress, who was born on August 9, 1906, in Clarksville, Tennessee, attended Rhodes College and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She sang in Broadway plays, with Garrick Gaines. She appeared in the film The Taming of the Shrew (1929), then a number of diverse works, including the movie Min and Bill (1930), and The Lost Squadron (1932). She died on December 7, 1988 in Los Angeles in the United States.
