An American actress, she was born in Marion, Indiana, on February 23, 1916. She was married twice and had two children. Among her notable films: The Master Key (1945), A Fig Leaf for Eve (1944) and Tonto Basin Outlaws (1941). She played a small role in the film The Best Years of Our Lives in 1946, after which she retired from acting and devoted herself to raising her children until she died of cancer in 1993 at the age of 77.
