He is a Taiwanese director and writer, born in 1941 in Taipei City, Taipei, Taiwan. His notable works include Chin mun bat jeung (1981), Xiao zi you zhong (1982), and The Master Strikes Back (1985). He is married to Tina Chin-Fei.
