American comedian, actress, and podcast host, born on July 24, 1977, in New Jersey to a Haitian father of Lebanese descent and a Jamaican mother of French descent. She went to Florida International University and was considering a career in journalism before moving into comedy. After five years as a stand-up comedian, she landed her first TV commercial on Comedy Central. She is known for Always Be My Maybe (2019), Happiest Season (2020), and Isn't It Romantic (2019).
