Canadian journalist and actress, born in Canada. She began her career in the 1970s as a singer and dancer, who later gained attention on Canadian television for her portrayal of Spumante Bambino wine in commercials, as well as for her role as host of the children's television series, Polka Dot Door (1971). She also appeared in The Virgin Suicides (1999). She won the 2001 Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in Dramatic Program.
