British actress, born on October 8, 1982, in Abergavenny, United Kingdom, and raised in North East England. As a teenager, she was a member of the National Youth Theatre. She read English literature at Keble College, University of Oxford, where she was an active member of OUDS (Oxford University Dramatic Society). After graduating with honors from Oxford, she studied acting at the London Central School of Speech and Drama. She made her debut in 2008. She is known for Mr Selfridge (2013-2016), Black Mirror (2011), and Misfits (2009).
