An American author and journalist, known for his writings about the Catholic Church. He gave up his desire to be a priest to become a journalist and get married. He worked as a correspondent for Time magazine. He won the Ed Cunningham Journalism Award in 1962 for his reporting on the Second Vatican Council from 1981 to 1983. Kaiser was chair of the journalism department at the University of Nevada, Reno. He's known for Hostage to the Devil, RFK Must Die: The Assassination of Bobby Kennedy, and Conspiracy Files. He died on April 2, 2015.
