He is a Turkish actor, born in 1955 in Samsun, Turkey. In 1977, he graduated from the theatre department of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory. He launched his acting career at the Ankara State Theater. He loved the theater, and in his first year he participated in six plays. Starting from his debut in Fahriye Abla (1984), he entered the world of cinema and television and began to climb the ladder of fame. He is known for his roles in Kurtulus (1994), Maruf (2001), and Havada bulut (2003).
