Australian singer and actress, born on April 21, 1958 in Sydney. She began acting with the amateur theater company The Rocks Players in downtown Sydney. She began her career on television in 1982 with a minor role in Sons and Daughters and has also appeared in a number of films directed by Jane Campion, including Sweetie, The Piano, and Holy Smoke.
