British actor born in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom on October 24, 1917. Among his notable works are Dulcimer Street (1948), The Buccaneers (1956) and Love in Waiting (1948). He made his theatrical debut in 1946 at the Comedy Theater in London, then turned to films and series. He died in 1994, at age 76.
