An American Beauty Pageant-winning actress, born on September 10, 1960 in Roanoke, Virginia. She attended Cave Springs High School, and later earned a degree in early childhood education. After being named Miss Roanoke Valley and being the runner-up in the 1981 Miss Virginia pageant, she won the competition herself in 1983. She then moved to Los Angeles and became an actress, appearing in a number of films and TV shows. She is best known for: Dragnet (1987), You Can't Take It With You (1987) and Remote Control (1988).
