An American actress, born in New York City, New York, USA, on June 8, 1903. Blair married three times and did not have children. She is known for Say Uncle (1944), Deadline for Murder (1946), Poppa Knows Worst (1944), and New Orleans (1947). Joan Blair worked with the Ziegfeld Follies and had extensive experience with touring theater companies. Also, she worked in cinema with the introduction of sound into movies. Blair died in Culver City, Los Angeles, California, USA, on January 9, 1997, due to pneumonia.
