He is a Canadian politician and a Member of the House of Commons of Canada. He received several Candadian medals and honorary degrees. He was a member of the Liberal International Affairs Council of Advisors, a member of the House of Commons of Canada, and executive vice-president of the Canadian Space Agency. He was also the former Minister of Transport and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is known for his self-appearances in Question Period (2020-2021), Space Station 3D (2002), and Power & Politics (2020).
