An American actor, born in Cresco, Iowa, USA, on January 15, 1894, as John Caward Garrett. He is known for The Big Bluff (1955). Kay played supporting roles in cinema and on television as a judge, merchant, waiter, gambler, and many more. Kay debuted in Gambling Lady (1934) and ended his career with One Foot in Hell (1960). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 26, 1960
