An American actor, born in Pocatello, Idaho, USA, on January 2, 1903, as Vernon Edward Rickard. He married actress Zoila Conan, and they had no children. He is known for In the Mines (1928), Jan Rubini (1929), and Hollywood Halfbacks (1931). Edward provided supporting roles as a soldier, officer, taxi driver, reporter, and many more. He made his acting debut in Hollywood Halfbacks (1931), and his last movie was Paint Your Wagon (1969). He died in Santa Monica, California, USA, on October 25, 1983.
