She is known for The Great Rupert (1950), Masks and Memories (1934), Sleep, My Love (1948), and Show Boat (1936). ...Read more She studied at the Horace Mann School and studied ballet at the Metropolitan Opera when she was 13 years old. Queenie spent many years as a high school drama teacher at the Hollywood Professional School and was the director of the training program at the Melodyland Theatre. She made her way to cinema in the mid-1930s, providing supporting roles as a maid, secretary, hairdresser, and others. She died in Burbank, California, USA, on August 5, 1978, of cancer.
