An American actor, born in Texas, USA, on September 28, 1908. He is known for The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), East of Eden (1955), High Noon (1952), and The War of the Worlds (1953). Tex provided supporting roles, often as a drunkard, a man in the city, or a man with a prosthetic leg. He died in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on March 21, 1973.
