A Canadian actress and writer of Filipino and Indian descent, born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA. Gita holds an MA in Film Studies from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She also holds a BA in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego. She participated in several works, such as Zootopia (2016) and Orange Is the New Black (2017).
