From 1924 to 1925, she participated in the series of "Telephone Girl" comedies, which were directed by her husband, Scott Pembroke. She continued to play the role of a telephone operator in many of her sound films, and her last appearance on the screen was in the role of telephone operator in the movie Week-End at the Waldorf (1945). She then joined the Lockheed Corporation until she retired in 1967 and died the following year at the age of 66. Among her most important works are A Bit o'Heaven (1917), Crinoline and Romance (1923), The Prisoner (1923), and Love Birds (1934). She died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on July 31, 1968, of a heart attack.
