He was a Brazilian actor and singer, born on September 16, 1913, in Brazil. His first appearance on the big screen was in the musical film The Three Caballeros (1944). He is known for his role in Pan-Americana (1945) and for writing the soundtracks for Tropical Heat Wave (1952) and Run for the Sun (1956). He passed away at the age of 49 on February 26, 1962, in Hollywood, California, USA.
