A French actor, director and writer, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, on June 21, 1929. He worked in British cinema and television, and played supporting roles such as policeman, scientist and farmer. Some of his works include David Copperfield (1966), Duffy (1968) and The Day the Sky Fell In (1959). He died in Cape Town, South Africa, on March 28, 1968, at the age of 38.
