A Canadian-Jamaican jazz singer, musician, and beauty queen, born in Toronto, Canada. She moved to Jamaica as a child and attended the Immaculate Conception High School, graduating in 1973. In 1976, Cindy was crowned Miss World. She had a relationship with Bob Marley from 1977...Read more until his death in 1981, and they had one child together, Damian Marley. She married Tom Tavares-Finson, with whom she has two children, but their marriage ended in divorce. Later, she married Rupert Bent II. She appeared as herself in Marley (2012). Cindy also participated as an actress in Jill Schoelen in Popcorn (1991) and Passion & Paradise: Part 2 (1989).
