An English actress and singer, born in Hampstead, London, England, United Kingdom. Adrienne Posta was married twice and did not have children. Among her most important works are To Sir, with Love (1967), The Alf Garnett Saga (1972), Carry on Behind (1975), and Up the Junction (1968). She gained prominence during the sixties and seventies. She worked as a teacher in the Midlands and at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She is the honorary patron of the Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America.
