Marton Paul Csokas is a New Zealand film and television actor. He was born in Invercargill in 1966, and graduated from Toi Whakaari, The New Zealand Drama School in 1989. His film debut was in Jack Brown Genius in 1992, after spending two years playing a recurring role in the...Read more television series Shortland Street. He also appeared in Broken English (1996) after landing several roles in theatrical plays. His most famous role from the 1990s was in the successful television series Hercules: The Legend Journeys from 1995 to 1999. He then went on to appear in many films, including The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012), and Noah, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and The Equalizer in 2014.
