Rebel Wilson is an Australian actress, writer and stand-up comedian who got her huge break in the 2011 comedy "Bridesmaids," which launched her Hollywood career. She was born in February 1986 in Sydney to dog handlers. She got her first gig on the SBS comedy show "Pizza" in 2003, and also acted on the sketch comedy series "The Wedge." In 2008, she wrote, produced and starred in the musical comedy series "Bogan Pride." In 2009, she won the Tropfest Best Actress award for "Bargain," and got a small part in "City Homicide." Soon after to moving to the United States, she was cast as the repulsive roommate in the hit comedy "Bridesmaids." The role opened up enormous opportunities for the young Aussie, who then went on to star in "Pitch Perfect" (2012), "What to Expect When You're Expecting" (2012) and "Bachelorette" (2012) alongside Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan and Kirsten Dunst.
