Actor Ahmed Helmy has agreed with director Shereef A’rafeh to hold workshops in order to work out the details for their latest film project “X Large”. Helmy hopes that the work will premier by the summer so that it could compete with other titles. Preparations will commence upon Helmy’s return from South Africa where he is currently spending his annual holiday with his wife and daughter.Ahmed Helmy has stated: “I am currently on holiday with my wife, actress Mona Zaky, and our daughter Leyla in South Africa. We are here because we love this country very much and we have a lot of good memories here.” Helmy continued by saying “As soon as I return from South Africa, I will begin preparations for my new film ‘X Large’ which will be directed by respected film director Shereef A’rafeh. The film is set to premier in the summer of 2011 and we have yet to choose the remaining cast for the film.”Worthy of note is that Helmy last work “Bulbul Hayrran” (“Bulbul is Confused”) is currently showing in cinemas in Egypt.
