A delay in the “One and a Half Hours” train till the summer of 2012

Although director Wael Ihassan is almost about to complete the shooting of his movie “One and Half Hours” in time to play for Eid Al Adha, but his wish for the movie to enter the official competition for Dubai’s International Cinema Festival forced the makers of the movie to postpone the release of the movie until the summer of 2012.It is a prerequisite for the Dubai International Cinema Festival, like any other festival, that the movies entering the competition must have not been released commercially, which means that “One and a Half Hours” will not be released until summer of 2012.The movie is a social drama that takes place during a one and half hour train trip where it portrays the lives of several of its passengers, following a tragic end to the trip. The movie stars Somaya El Khashaab, Maged El Kadawani, Iyad Nassar, Youssra El Lozy, Fathi Abdel Wahab, Sawsan Badr, Ahmed El Fishawy, Mohamed Adel Imam, Ahmed Bedair and Haitham Ahmed Zaki. “One and a Half Hours” is produced by Ahmed El Sobky and written by Ahmed Abdulla.
