The star George Clooney has denied that his recent interest and activity in the political arena is an introduction to applying for governing any of the states or to get any political positions, stressing that he is satisfied with his current role and doesn't have any other political aspirations for the coming years.Clooney pointed out that all the issues that he is concerned about are humanitarian issues at their core, such as the Darfur region of western Sudan or otherwise, and that these activities are the ones he is passionate about and they could be considered as part of his role as an artist. He added that he does not possess the qualifications or ambitions of a politician. On the sidelines of showing his new film "The Ideas of March"at the London festival, in which he tackles the story of a presidential candidate of the United States who belongs to the Democratic Party, Clooney confirmed that the film reflects the corrupted situations that occur behind the scenes in the current political process.Clooney considered that the film, as well as the current cinema, are not capable of bringing about a real political reform, but it expresses and documents what happens and reflects the real situation, which allows for hope of fixing them after the preliminary stage of acknowledging them.
