Clint Eastwood needs Tom Cruise for his remake of "A Star is Born"

He will be turning 82 in two months, but that didn't stop him from planning for his new film. "A Star is Born" which had three versions, 1st in 1934, then in 1954 and finally in 1976 is going to be Clint Eastwood's new project."A Star is Born" is about a young singer who is dreaming of stardom and gets help through an old leading man "Norman Maine" whose lost his fame. Eastwood had chosen Beyoncé and Leonardo DiCaprio to star in his remake film, and he got one out of the two choices. Beyoncé has approved but since she is pregnant, the shooting is put on hold. As for DiCaprio, he turned down the offer for his busy schedule.Now, Eastwood has his eyes on Tom Cruise to play the role of "Norman Maine" and he has received a preliminary approval from Cruise.
