The cast and crew of the second season of the sitcom “Al Babe Fee Al Bab – Door to Door” have finished shooting all episodes for the show to be released in Ramadan this year on Al Hayat TV. As announced by Zeyad Kabbi, president of the production company “Sony Pictures Television Arabia”, they are proud to sign their show with Al Hayat TV since it is has a valuable position in Egypt and the Arab World. “Al Bab Fee Al Bab” is adapted from the successful American sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond” that aired in 1996 for 9 seasons until 2005 and it was adapted before in Russia in 2008 and was a huge success. The show gathered more than 50 awards in International festivals including 15 Emmies and received hundreds of nominations in all festivals it participated through its nine seasons.The sitcom is about a married couple that lives next door to the husband’s parents and divorced brother. The comedy situations are based on the eternal complex relationship between the wife and her mother-in-law and how the in-laws feel that their son’s apartment is an extension of theirs where they are free to go in and out and interfere in his life with his wife and three children all the time. The second season stars Sherif Salama as “Hesham”, Caroline Khalil as “Dina”, Hesham Ismail as “Essam” and the two big stars Ahmed Khalil as “Khalil” and Layla Taher as “Kawther”. Script writer Wael Hamdy is in charge of the script writing workshops and the second season is directed by Ahmed El Gendy, Ahmed Samir Farag and Taghreed Al Asfoury where they are in the process of editing the show’s 30 episodes. Production supervision is done by Ahmed El Sharawey and May Kandeel.
