Watch: first picture of Russell Crowe in "Les miserables"

After releasing the first official picture of the film "Les miserables" and the leaking of behind the scenes pictures for Anne Hathaway, Universal Pictures released a picture for Russell Crowe.Crowe plays Javert, the police detective who suspects that the new rich guy in town is in fact the same old theif who was detained for 20 years for stealing a loaf of bread, Jean Valjean.Thomas Hopper will direct the film; however, it will be in the form of a musical, so it will be different from previous versions.Other actors featured in the film are Helena Bonham Carter, Amanda Seyfried and Sasha Baron Cohen. The film is set for release 14th of December.
