A press conference for "Madagascar" in Cannes

A press conference for "Madagascar 3" was held this morning. The film itself was shown just minutes ago outside the official competition of the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival. It was attended by Tom McGrath, Eric Darnell, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Jessica Chastain, Jada Smith and David Schwimmer.Ben Stiller expressed his love to this type of films. He also talked about the difficulties they faced during the making of the first part, and how that its huge success urged them to work on a second one. He added that with time they are more and more enthusiastic about it. Chris Rock also said he is in love with those kids' films.Jessica Chastain said that even since the first part and she wanted to be a part of this thing. Her dream came true when she auditioned for the 3rd part and got the role. Director McGrath said that he has always wanted to do something funny and unrealistic, which us exactly what Madagascar is all about.The crew of the film went to take some photos before the press conference.
