After the photo call was over, makers of the film "Reality" started their conference to discuss their film which goes head to head with other 21 films to win the Palme d'Or.Matteo Garrone attended the conference with actors from the film. He talked about it a lot and said that after his film "Gomorra" won the Jury's award four years ago, he kept looking for a film as strong and deep, until he stumbled upon a story that took place in Napoli and chose it for his next film. He chose this city because it contains lots of contradictions which was exactly he was looking for.About the similarities of his film to Italian films, he said that he kept his own character and take on the film and hopes that people won't mistake him for a wannabe. Anyway, he considers his film a nod to the great Italian directors that created those films.
