According to Moroccan newspapers; Lebanese singer Carole Samaha was marked the most popular female singer in the Arabic World. This comment came right after Carole’s concert at the opening ceremony of the 5th Tatwan Festival for Female Voices in Morocco which was held under the auspices of His Highness King Mohamed the 6th. Carole started her concert with a lovely comment of how many men attended this festival while she expected only women to attend as the title says so. She said it seems that men outnumber women! The audience enjoyed this comment and applauded her. This concert was done after Carole’s tour in Azerbaijan where she joined Turksih singer Mostafa Sandal and more than 30 Asian singers to celebrate a famous political icon’s birthday. From there she went for a concert in Seashells then to Morocco for the festival. Carole has returned to Beirut and is preparing a concert for her home country fans on 14 July at Zouq Makayel Festival.
