Maha Ahmed: "Roba Dasta Setat" Pushed to After Ramadan

In a statement to , actress Maha Ahmed announced her show "Robaa Dasta Setat" (A Quarter Dozen Ladies), which was scheduled to air this Ramadan on Al Mehwar will be delayed until after the holy month.

She told us that the idea behind the program was to offer a broad platform to discuss issues pertaining to Egyptian and Arab women, and the family in general. In addition to the delay, the channel's management has decided the show will be broadcasted on the air live. It'll be her first time hosting a show.

Catching us up on her other projects, Maha confirmed that she has in fact signed on to star in the sitcom "Al Tekkya" with director Sameh Al Showady. She'll be co-starring alongside Yasser Galal, Shereen and Lotfy Labib. Though the show has also been pushed back, they're supposed to start shooting after Ramadan.
