Oscar-winner and all around awesome human Jodie Foster is getting ready to direct an episode of "House of Cards," Netflix's behind-the-curtain show about the scandals and inner workings of Washington politicians.

Foster is heading out to Maryland to shoot the episode, about which few details have been revealed. An agreeable working relationship may be in the mix, as Foster has previously directed an episode of Netflix's other hit show "Orange is the New Black."

At 29, Foster held her own opposite legendary Anthony Hopkins in everyone's favorite horror movie "Silence of the Lambs," for which she won an Oscar in 1992. This past January, she put to rest years of dodging questions and speculation about her sexuality, and came out as gay in an unexpectedly raw acceptance speech for a Golden Globe award.
