Leonardo DiCaprio to Produce and Possibly Star in “Blood on the Snow”

Warner Bros. is closing a deal with DiCaprio to produce the adaptation of Jo Nesbo's upcoming thriller“Blood on the Snow” through his production company, Appian WayBanner.

The first of two novels sequel, “Bloodon the Snow” is about a hitman who is assigned a job from his bossto kill the Boss' wife. The hitman proceeds but in the process, hefalls in love with the wife.

If the deal is closed, it will be thesecond book acquisition by Warner Bros. for Dicaprio in the last fiveweeks after A. Scott Berg's “Wilson.”

Dicaprio will be seen next in Scorsese's “ The Wolf of Wall Street,” which is announced to bereleased in Christmas.
