Taylor Swift received thehighest number of nominations in the American Country Awards, as shewas nominated in 8 awards categories.

The 23 year oldsinger received nominations in the following categories: Artistof the Year, Artist of the Year: Female, Single of the Year: Femalefor “Begin Again,” Single of the Year: Vocal Collaboration for“Highway Don’t Care,” (in which she collaborated with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban), Touring Artist of the Year, Music Video ofthe Year for “Begin Again,” Music Video of the Year: Female for“Begin Again,” and Music Video of the Year: Group orCollaboration for “Highway Don’t Care.”

Trailing behind Swift in the top nominations list was Tim McGrawand the band "Florida Georgia Line" with seven nominations for each.Taylor was recently awarded “2013 Songwriter/Artist of the Year”by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, breaking arecord by winning the prize for the sixth consecutive time.
