Angelina Jolie Appears in New 'Maleficent' Poster

Disney have released thefirst poster for “ Maleficent,” featuring Angelina Jolie dressedas the film's lead: the villain Queen.

The film is a versionof the Sleeping Beauty, telling the story of Princess Aurora from theevil queen's point of view, where the plot reveals her motives tocurse the princess. Elle Fanning will be playing Aurora, whileAngelina and Brad Pitt's daughter Vivienne will be playing the samecharacter in an earlier age phase.

Disney also released ateaser to the film directed by Robert Stromberg, which is expected tohit theaters next May. Imelda Staunton, India Eisley and Sam Rileywill be co-starring.
