Berlin Film Festival Announces Official Selections

With a jury that includes director Michel Gondry ( Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), actress Greta Gerwig ( Frances Ha) and the Austrian-German actor Christoph Waltz( Django Unchained), the 64th Berlin Film festival has announced itsofficial selections. The list of movies competing on the Golden Bearand Silver Bear includes: Alain Resnais's “Life of Riley,” Richard Linklater's “Boyhood” which premiered at Sundance earlierthis year and Rachid Bouchareb's “Two Men in Town.”

Wes Anderson's “ The Grand Budapest hotel” is also competing and will be the festival's opening film.The 64th annual round will witness the internationalpremiere of George Clooney's “ The Monuments Men,” the awaited Lars Von trier's “ Nymphomaniac” and Christophe Gans' “Beautyand the Beast” starring Lea Seydoux from “ Blue is the Warmest Colour.”

Last year's Berlin's Golden Bear wasawarded to the Romanian film “ link.
