Director Nadine Khan will be tonight's guest at a discussion held after the screening of Francois Truffaut's " 400 Blows", at Zawya theater in downtown Cairo.

The screening, which will take place at 6:30 p.m, is part of the "Carte Blanche" program of the 7th Panorama of the European Film, and is Khan's own choice. In the discussion, she will elaborate the reasons why she chose the film to be one of her all-time favorites, and will reply to questions by the audience.

The film was Truffaut's directorial debut, and follows a misunderstood young adolescent who escapes neglect by transforming into a life of petty crime.

Zawya theater will be also screening My Father, The Revolution and Me, First to Fall and The Dark Valley. Galaxy theater in Manial will be screening Buena Vista Social Club, School of Babel, Kebab and Horoscope, Human Capital and Stop-Over.
