Omar Abdel Aziz To Head Alexandria Film Festival's Jury

The Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics has chosen director Omar Abdel Aziz to be the head of the upcoming edition of the Alexandria Film Festival, which will take place from September 2 to September 8, 2015, with Amir Abaza as the edition's president.

The organizers of the festival have also announced that a new competition for Arab films will be introduced in the upcoming edition, and will be funded by the Filmmakers Syndicate.

The jury will feature Lebanese artist Nadine Elrassy, Egyptian cinematographer Samir Farag, Omani director Khaled Alzegaly and Jordanian actress Saba Mubarak.
