Marzouk wakes up and finds actors in war gear in the neighborhood, so he distracts them, then asks his neighbors to sign a petition against filming there. Marzouk goes to visit the father of the girl he likes to ask for her hand.

Hanan’s father promises to give an answer to Marzouk, who gets into trouble with the police after being late in delivering his son to his ex-wife.

Marzouk files a complaint against a government employee. While trying to save a child from an accident, Marzouk is injured and taken to the hospital, whereupon Hanan agrees to their engagement.

Marzouk causes trouble in the hospital due to a malfunction in some of its equipment, after which he undergoes an operation. Hanan’s father inquires about Marzouk and finds out that he is divorced.

Marzouk returns home upon his recovery, whereupon he goes to the house of Hanan's father, who confronts him with the fact that he has been married five times.

As Marzouk intervenes and solves a problem related to Hanan's father's work, the man realizes how gallant he is, yet Hanan insists on rejecting him.

After Hanan's father falls ill, Marzouk takes him to a doctor's office, where he interferes with the treatment of other patients, so the man dreads rejecting Marzouk.

Hanan's father informs Marzouk of Hanan's consent to the marriage; meanwhile, the police warn Hanan's father against building a second floor in his house, after Marzouk brought him building materials.

Marzouk introduces his son, Imad, to Hanan's family after he moves in with him, upon which he turns to his music-obsessed neighbors to help him with the child’s education.

Marzouk is saddened by his sister Shahira's complaint about the sound of the whistle of the car he uses for work; meanwhile, Marzouk goes out with Hanan on an date despite her objection.

Marzouk asks his ex-wife that Imad stay with her until his wedding, for which the preparations begin, while Hanan's father is shocked to discover that Hanan has run away.

Hanan's father makes up a story about Hanan's injury in a car accident, whereupon Marzouk continues to look for her, so her father tells him the truth. Marzouk plans to make her fall in love with him, as Hanan returns after the wedding gets cancelled.

Hanan returns and tells Marzouk that she wants to marry him. Hanan's father gets involved with an unknown gunman. Marzouk suffers as he takes care of Imad, so he turns to Shahira for help.

Shahira's husband and Shafiq cause provocation against Marzouk in order to seize his house,while Marzouk's neighbor, Mokhles, turns to him after refusing to marry his cousin.

Hanan and Imad get closer. Shahira tells Marzouk of Shafik's plan to partner up with him on a project. Marzouk and Imad move in Shafiq’s house.

With Marzouk's staying over, Shafiq and Mayada suffer from his habits and messiness. Arwa and Adham offer Marzouk to open a cafe in his house, while Shafiq demands that they turn it into a restaurant.

Abu Samir films an interview with a TV presenter at the house of Marzouk, who goes to Shafiq's house, which angers Mayada, whereupon Marzouk disturbs Shafiq with moving his stuff.

Mayada becomes increasingly annoyed with the presence of Marzouk, who steps up to put out a fire near Hanan's house, which brings them closer. Marzouk frustrates a thief’s attempt to steal gas cylinders.

Marzouk and Hanan quarrel because he forgot about her while they were out on a date. After their reconciliation, Marzouk insists on setting a date for the wedding, while Shafiq withdraws from his project with Marzouk to force the latter to move out of his home.

As Marzouk moves into Adham's house, he starts causing him trouble, whereas Shafiq struggles while traveling to his new job.

Hanan's father insists that Marzouk force Hanan to agree to the wedding date. As Shafiq gets home late at night, Mayada suspects that he’s married to another woman. Marzouk chases his ex-wife to see their daughter.

Marzouk gets Hanan's father into trouble after taking him to a restaurant without having money, but he returns to him and cleverly saves the situation.

Marzouk gets beaten and mugged, and after he is taken to the hospital, Hanan sets the wedding date. Because of Marzouk's disappearance, Imad returns to his mother's house.

The two men return to steal, and when Marzouk tries to stop them, they beat him again. Arwa's theatrical show is held at Marzouk's house.

Arwa thinks that Marzouk ruined the show on purpose, so she cancels the project. Marzouk takes Hanan's family to his house after the thieves went home.

Marzouk's ex-wife takes advantage of his wish for Imad to stay with her until the wedding and drives a wedge between them. Before the wedding, the police arrest Marzouk, mistaking him for a thief.

Hanan's family finds out what happened to Marzouk, whereupon Shahira helps Marzouk in his predicament after the rest of their family abandons him, and the police prove his innocence.

As Hanan’s father confesses to his family and to Marzouk that he is sought for revenge because of a murder committed by his friend in the past, Marzouk promises to help him, whereas Marzouk takes revenge on Jamil for getting him in trouble with the police.

Marzouk traces the past secrets of Hanan’s father, and then turns to the police in order to search for Hanan's father's old friend.

Marzouk reunites with his siblings following their estrangement, and after he solves the problem of Hanan's father, he and Hanan get married.
