Albatal works in a shoe store and loves the daughter of the owner who loves someone else. When she tells him that she doesn't like him, he faints and the doctor tells him he has one week to live. The owner of the shop writes all his possessions to him to escape from a partner who was away years ago and came back claiming his rights.
