Sodfa lives an unhappy marriage with her mentally retarded cousin Sayed, where they live with his mother. When Mahmoud returns from abroad, he supervises the brick factory owned by Sayed's mother ,which angers Sodfa, who had a relationship with him. Sodfa asks him to marry her after she gets a divorce from Sayed.
