Anurin refuses the child's presence in the palace.

Naguib becomes a young man who is attached to Haziq Pasha's daughter, Malak, but the child Sanmar tries to harm him constantly. Anurin accuses Naguib of theft with a plot orchestrated by Sanmar. As years pass by, Anurin refuses Naguib's marriage to Malak.

As Anurin agrees to Naguib's marriage to Malak on the condition that his family doesn't attend, Sheikh Hassan disavows his son Naguib, and the wedding takes place. Sigris is shocked that Hafez is alive. Balfour Declaration is issued to establish a national home for the Jews in Palestine. Richard leaves Egypt.
