Wanis recovers from a coma and discovers that becoming senile and seeing his children married was just a dream. Wanis receives the news of the death of Mama Zozo from his family.
After Wanis tries to convince Jihad not to transfer from the Faculty of Psychology to the Faculty of Commerce, Wanis discovers that Fou'ad told Hussein and Youssef that Wanis is not fluent in English so as to be excluded from traveling to London.
Farid is acquitted of the charge of killing Wanis. Jihad enrolls in the Faculty of Commerce. As the disputes between Abu Al-Fadl and Ferdous escalate, the latter begins to plan to end her life. Wanis begins to search for Tharwat.
The bond between Jihad and her university professor, Murad, is strengthened. Wanis succeeds in finding Tharwat in the heart of the desert and tries to convince him to partner up with him on the establishment of a school.
Murad persuades Jihad to return to the Faculty of Psychology. Wanis asks Tharwat to transfer the ownership of the school to him. Maysa's brother, Tahseen, returns after being abroad for 15 years.
Zeinat discovers that Khalil has hidden a large fortune from her after he was robbed. Maysa and Wanis mediate for Tahseen to get him engaged to Olfat.
Wanis tells Maysa his story with the headmaster of his school and how he instilled many values in him. After Wanis and Maysa think that Oshin is the maid, they discover that she is Ezzeldin's Japanese friend.
Jihad takes care of Murad's kids while he is traveling. Wanis builds an apartment for Abdullah in the old house in the neighborhood to marry Abla. Wanis takes over the case of Islah and her son.
Olfat refuses to marry Tahseen because of her love for Metaw'. Ferdous suspects there is a relationship between Abu Al-Fadl and Oshin.
After the bank rejects Wanis' request for a loan to implement the school project, Tharwat plans to sell the school's land, but Wanis stands up to him. Abdul Jalil marries Hanan.
Murad confesses his love for Jihad. The neighbors suspect Abu Al-Fadl's repeated assault on Ferdous, but he denies it. Fou'ad discovers that Hossam is married to Sherine.
As Ferdous plots an accident to commit suicide and kill Abu Al-Fadl with her, she dies by drowning, upon which the police arrest Abu Al-Fadl on charges of killing her. The neighbors testify against Abu Al-Fadl. Abdullah and Abla postpone their marriage.
As Abu Al-Fadl's trial begins, Wanis defends his father in the case of Ferdous' murder, and he succeeds in proving his innocence due to insufficient evidence. Oshin leaves Wanis' home and returns to Japan.
Wanis discovers that there is a relationship between Jihad and her university professor, Murad. Wanis tries to prove that Ferdous committed suicide and the final innocence of his father. Fathia sets fire to Fawzi and Metaw's car.
New evidence appears against Abu Al-Fadl after the prosecution discovers that there is an insurance policy from Ferdous in his name, but Wanis succeeds in proving that Abul-Fadl knows nothing about it. Tahseen tells Maysa that there is a relationship between Laila and Wanis.
Farid threatens to expose Khalil in the case of the spoiled food unless he gives him a million pounds. Wanis succeeds in proving once and for all the innocence of Abu Al-Fadl from the murder of Ferdous.
Khalil tells Farid about Wanis' project to establish a school with Tharwat. Inshirah tries to help Maysa by keeping Laila away from Wanis in her own way.
Khalil asks to withdraw from the school project and get his money to pay off his debt to Farid. Hossam is shocked when Maysa proposes to Sherine to get her married to Tahseen.
As Inshirah eavesdrops on Wanis and Laila, a misunderstanding occurs, as she thinks they are planning to marry, so she tells Maysa. Jihad realizes the age difference between her and Murad and decides to stay away from him.
Ezzeldin travels to Japan to visit Oshin. Wanis continues in his plan to get Houria and Hosniya married to Ezzeldin and Sharaffudin, and Zakaria to Jihad.
Ezzeldin returns from Japan. Abdullah marries Abla.
Wanis and Maysa evade Hoda's attempts to find out about the details of marriage and childbearing. The police arrest Fou'ad and accuse him of being involved in a smuggling operation. As Abu Al-Fadl crashes with his car into a person named Abu Al-Makarem, he discovers that he is his cousin.
Mo'taza discovers that Hossam is married to Sherine behind her back. Islah refuses Wanis' solutions by questioning her ex-husband's integrity so that Masry obtains the citizenship. The doctor tells Abdullah that Abla is pregnant.
Wanis and Abu Al-Fadl transform Mama Zozo's place into a house for maintaining kinship ties to shelter the homeless. Ezzeldin and his siblings discover Wanis' plan to wed them to Zakaria and his sisters, so they devise a plan to make him sell the apartments he bought so that they can build their own lives.
Farid threatens his mother and wife to kick them out of the house unless they break off their relationship with Wanis. Hossam divorces Mo'taza and Sherine. Hoda confesses to Wanis that his children, Zakaria and his sisters know his plan to marry them off.
Farid divorces his wife and kicks her out of the house. Wanis suffers from Abu Al-Makarem's repeated pretending to have wealth and doesn't believe the matter. Wanis deceives Jihad and Ezzeldin by telling them he will get them married to Tharwat's children.
Tahseen marries Islah. Wanis asks for Houria's hand for Ezzeldin and agrees to the engagement of Jihad to Zakaria. Wanis' dream collapses before the school opens after Farid submits documents proving he owns the land and a decision to knock down the school.
Wanis' children tell him about their rejection of the apartments he bought for them and about their wish to build their own lives. As Laila confesses her love to Wanis, he tells her that he only loves Maysa.
Abu Al-Fadl sells the neighborhood house to Fathiya. Wanis and Tharwat stop the ruling on knocking down the school after they yielded it up to the Ministry of Education. Wanis and Maysa are convinced of their children's point of view by leaving them to build their lives.
Hossam threatens Mo'taza to obtain custody of their daughter if she got married. After Abu Al-Makarem leaves, Wanis discovers that they have wronged him and that he owns a fortune that he was trying to help them with.
Wanis works with Tharwat on a project to reclaim the desert. As Farid becomes helpless, he decides to repent and regrets what he did against Wanis for trying to kill him.
Wanis and his family begin the first steps of building and cultivating "The City of Dreams" in the desert.
