It's revealed that El Khal’s father was executed in the past for high treason. As El Khal obtains all of his father's property, he decides to return to his neighborhood Talea Al Feda after being removed from his political position.

Abu Nazih (Nazih’s father) is displeased with El Khal’s return to the neighborhood, whereas El Khal demands the house from him.

El Khal continues to rent the house to Abu Nazih. Adel refuses to work with El Khal like his brother Salim. The people of the neighborhood don’t like El Khal's wife because of her lack of modesty.

El Khal decides to set up a newspaper in the place of the police station, after it has come into his possession. The police arrest a group of young men from the neighborhood to fight with the army.

Abu Riad decides to take his daughter Sobhia after Aziz has been drafted into the army. El Khal helps Aziz escape from the army.

Aziz tells Mustafa that he married Sobhia without her father's consent. The governor orders the search for Aziz after a policeman was killed.

El Khal hides Aziz in a safe place. Sobhia can’t stand her father's control and her son's being away from her. El Khal defends the right of Umm Aziz (Aziz’s mother).

Abu Nazih files a complaint against El Khal after he beat him. Sheikh Ahmed tries to solve Sobhia's problem. Adel asks Abu Radwan for money in exchange for his house.

Abu Zaki suggests that Abu Nazih register Nazih as dead to avoid the draft, since Nazih is mentally incompetent. Sobhia runs away from her father's house for the sake of her son.

Abu Riad complains about his daughter’s absence. Sobhia stays with her son and Umm Aziz in the house of El Khal’s wife.

As Salim learns of Adel's intention to mortgage the house, he warns him, but Adel doesn’t listen to him and decides to prevent Salim from inheriting because he’s only his half-brother from his mother’s side and he has no right to inherit.

Sobhia refuses to return to her father's house without her son. Abu Nazih carries out his plan to hide his son.

El Khal sets fire to some of his property to file a complaint against Abu Nazih. Aziz visits his wife and his mother.

Aziz threatens Abu Riad. Abu Farah informs El Khal of Aziz's escape. Abu Nazih rapes Hind.

Abu Nazih tells Hind that he will marry her. Abu Riad falls ill. Umm Aziz tries to persuade her son to run away, but he refuses.

Abu Nazih learns that Hind is not a thief. The court rules that Sobhia should obey her husband, not her father.

Abu Zaki sets a trap for Aziz, but he manages to escape, after which El Khal decides to teach Abu Zaki a lesson. It’s revealed that Nazih stole from his father.

Mahmoud flunks at school. Nazih learns that Aziz is in the neighborhood. Aziz takes revenge on Abu Nazih and robs him.

El Khal decides to hand out food to the people of the neighborhood to help them. Aziz is sentenced to death.

Sobhia tells El Khal about the money Aziz gave her, upon which El Khal decides to find out the source of the money.

Mustafa is glad to see Salwa, after which he gets arrested and forced to serve in the army.

El Khal searches for his son Mustafa, whose absence he can’t bear. As Abu Nazih learns of the theft his son committed, he decides to discipline him.

Mustafa can’t stand serving in the army. Adel quarrels with Mahmoud over seeing the ladies of the house. Mahmoud’s father becomes paralyzed after learning what his son did. El Khal learns about Aziz’s theft of Abu Nazih and the latter’s wish to marry Sobhia in the past.

Salim has qualms about the money that Adel has. Munira's psychological state worsens after Mustafa's disappearance. Abu Nazih decides to wed his daughter, Naziha, to Adel.

As the army gets attacked, Mustafa flees. When Adel decides to sell his share in the house to Abu Nazih, El Khal warns him.

As Naziha agrees to marry Adel, their wedding takes place. Hind turns to El Khal, whom she tells that Abu Nazih is hiding his son.

As a divorce ruling is issued for Sobhia, she refuses to return to her father's house. El Khal receives news of his son Mustafa’s death.

El Khal detains Nazih in retaliation against his father. Mustafa is rescued and treated by Aziz.

After Adel forces his family to let Naziha stay in the house, he beats Salma at Naziha's instigation. Abu Nazih learns of his son's kidnapping.

When El Khal finds out that Abu Nazih is the one who harmed Mustafa, he plots revenge. El Khal learns that Mustafa is alive.

Abu Nazih finds out that El Khal learned the truth about him, after which the former demands his share in Salim's house. El Khal takes revenge on Abu Nazih in his own way.
