1st Episode

Shukri, the working-class employee, raises his three daughters; Shams, Dunia and Qamar, as Dunia is divorced, while Shams chooses not to complete her studies and stay at home, and so Qamar, the arrogant college student. Atef, Shukri's co-worker considers marrying one of Shukri's girls.

2nd Episode

After Shukri tells his daughter, Shams, about his illness and his desire to transfer his money in her name for fear of his death, he is surprised by Atef's proposal to marry his divorced daughter, Dunia. Shams gets to know Hesham, the brother of her friend, Raqia.

Although Atef asks Dunia to speed up their marriage, she is afraid of what her son might say about the decision. On the wedding night, Dunia is surprised by the return of her ex-husband after he has been abroad.

Shams tells Qamar about her love for Hesham, after which Qamar meets him, falls for him and looks forward to getting into a relationship with him. Shams is shocked by her sister Dunia's ex-husband who wants to marry her.

Shams gets engaged to Hesham, who starts to treat her differently after he gets to know her sister, Qamar. Meanwhile, Atef begins to take issues with Dunia about her son, who lives with them.

Hassan insists on traveling abroad. Dunia tells Atef that they are expecting a baby. Shukri sorrowfully dies after he finds out why Hesham has ended his engagement to Shams as he desires to marry her sister, Qamar.

Hassan decides to leave his son in the care of Shams. Hesham thinks about traveling abroad. Qamar gets engaged to her colleague, Samir. Dunia gives birth to her first child from Atef, who asks that her elder son moves to stay with her mother.

8th Episode

As Qamar causes a tragic accident to Rajab, Shams takes care of him until he drops the lawsuit against Qamar, who works as a tailor. As Atef mistreats Mamdouh, Dunia's son, he runs away. While everyone searches out for him, Mamdouh gets abducted by a mob boss. Hesham returns from traveling.

9th Episode

Months go by after Mamdouh's disappearance as the mob boss trains him to steal. Qamar insists on holding her wedding to Samir, despite all the bad circumstances that have come about. Hassan returns and is shocked by the disappearance of his son.

Qamar and her husband fall victims to a tragic accident, leaving their young daughter, Qamar, whom Shams takes care of. Years later, Mamdouh asks Dunia to propose to Qamar. Shams becomes a doctor. As Shukri’s daughter becomes severely ill, Shams takes care of her.

11th Episode

Shams tells Mamdouh that Qamar refuses to marry him because she considers him as her brother, after which she suggests that he travels to his father. Shams meets up with Hesham after his daughter, Nevin, undergoes a serious surgery.

Even though Hesham asks Shams to get back to him, she tells him that she no longer has feelings for him and that she is not currently considering marriage. Meanwhile, Dunia complains to her mother about Atef's behaviour and her doubts about him.

Dunia informs Shams of her suspicion of her husband, Atef, who is in a relationship with another woman. Consequently, Shams confronts him and he does not deny it, after which she advises him to care about Dunia. Hesham tells Raqia about his desire to get back with Shams.

Finale

Farida marries, and so do Qamar and Mamdouh. Shams asks Hesham to let go of her and stay away from her life.
