When the old witch tells the governor that his daughter is either going to die or get kidnapped, he sends his daughter away. The box of Keshehan’s will gives anyone who tries to move it trouble. Keshehan isn’t a member of the family of Abu Hemdan. Laila arrives at the governor’s house.

2nd Episode

When the governor refuses to let Laila out to meet people, Zubaida sends for the village girls to see her daughter. The old witch tells the governor that the village will burn down and be destroyed. When a meteor lands near Hemdan's house, he and Keshehan find a dwarf getting out of the meteor.

3rd Episode

Keshehan learns that the dwarf is called Farhan. As Keshehan sells Masala chai, Saleh raises the price of regular tea, which leads people to complain to the governor. The governor orders Saleh's cafe and Bayt Al-Matout cafe to combine forces and serve both kinds of tea for an affordable price.

Abu Atiq (Atiq's father) asks Abu Luluah (Luluah's father) for his donkey. When Abu Luluah convinces Abu Atiq that he uses a charity turban to pay for his purchases, the latter buys the turban and discovers that it is only a scheme. The guards arrest Keshehan and Hemdan for having Laila with them.

5th Episode

Upon Laila's insistence, the governor agrees to release Hemdan and Keshehan. Umm Luluah and Umm Atiq tell Umm Hemdan that her husband is cheating on her at the cafe. As the three go to the cafe, they clash with the men. The governor intervenes and forbids women from going to the cafe.

Abu Hemdan (Hemdan's father) shows Abu Atiq the sword that Hemdan made for the governor. Abu Atiq takes the sword and claims to Abu Hemdan that a rat ate the sword, so Abu Hemdan takes his fabric and claims that doves snatched the fabric and flew away.

The niece of Umm Luluah (Luluah's mother) teaches the women of the city to use mixtures on their faces and hair, which leads them to neglect their husbands. The governor gives Hemdan money for the sword and thanks him. Laila questions Hemdan on why he didn't answer her message.

When Prince Shab'an asks for Laila's hand, both Laila and Zubaida refuse. Zubaida asks Gaber to get close to Laila to marry her. Keshehan and Hemdan get lost. When Hemdan gives his dagger to a father so that he could sell it and treat his sick son, the father comes back with a gift for Hemdan

The old witch orders the dwarves to carry out a job for her. As the dwarves find a magic lantern that makes them vanish, they cause an uproar amongst the people as they start spreading their news. Abu Hemdan reminds the people of a verse from the Holy Quran to calm them down.

Hemdan receives a message from Laila. As he sends Laila a message apologizing for not being in the shop when she asked for him, it turns out wasn't Laila who asked for him. Keshehan recovers from his transformation into a cat after the old witch had him submerged in water.

Hemdan learns that Laila wasn't the woman who asked about him. Zubaida tells the governor that Laila must wed. As Umm Atiq thinks that her husband will take another wife, he makes her think he did marry and brings his new wife in, only for her to discover that the new wife is a pottery doll.

Laila tells Hemdan that her father is on a hunting trip. Gaber sets up a murder attempt so that he could save the governor's life. When Keshehan accidentally harms everyone he meets with his shoes, the people complain to Zubaida, who takes it from him.

When a merchant agrees with Keshehan to buy all the donkeys for a higher price than the market, Keshehan gets embroiled in a cycle of raising the prices until there are no donkeys on the market. The merchant then asks Keshehan and Atiq to buy the donkeys for a cheap price, which angers people.

When Laila refuses to wed Gaber, the governor and Zubaida pressure her to accept. The governor announces an award for the best present for the princess. Laila tells Umm Hemdan (Hemdan's mother) that she doesn't want Gaber.

Laila's wedding gets canceled and the minister gets dismissed from his post. At the cafe, the men share that their wives have kicked them out because of Laila's present. The wives leave the houses, but they eventually return when their husbands apologize.

Keshehan, Hemdan, and Atiq return to find the village under a curse that put everyone to sleep. Atiq apologizes to the tree to ends the curse. As everyone wakes up, Hemdan discovers that the old witch had something to do with the curse.

The old witch gives Umm Atiq a seashell that enables her to confirm her husband's cheating. The governor rewards Hemdan, Keshehan, and Atiq for catching a thief who stole the gold.

As Hemdan is beaten by thieves, security is tightened at the palace. Abu Atiq gets treatment from Al-Matout to break the curse that was inflicted on his wife due to her wrong use of the magical seashell.

The governor decides to pick his new minister from the residents of the town, which upsets Gaber. Umm Atiq loses the elections, as Abu Atiq and Abu Luluah get the same amount of votes. When Musbah tells Gaber that Laila is seeing Hemdan, he goes to the governor and causes the results to be delayed.

Laila shares her fear of Gaber's return with Hemdan. The townspeople learn that Gaber has been reinstated. A prank makes Abu Luluah thinks that he was visited by the angel of death. Gaber sets Hemdan up when he arranges for Laila to see Hemdan with Luluah.

As Hemdan holds himself responsible for Laila's illness, he tries to locate the Herb of Immortality that could cure any illness, according to Keshehan. Al-Matout helps him find the herb, and Laila recovers. The stranger merchant sends a reward for the person who helped him.

The governor questions Hemdan on the reward he wants for saving Laila. Hemdan learns that Gaber is the one who arranged for Laila to see him with Luluah. As Keshehan and Abu Shanab face off in a poetry competition, Keshehan catches the governor's eyes.

Hemdan brings the governor a sword that the latter gifts to the wise explorer Khamis. Luluah believes that Hemdan wants to wed her.

Hemdan is imprisoned. The old witch leads Gaber to a cave inhabited by a sorcerer who could turn Gaber into a sorcerer himself. Abu Salem gets in trouble after a woman asks him to pretend to be her husband and divorce her. When he does, she asks for compensation for the years he left her for.

Gaber releases Hemdan to get him the magical lantern. Hemdan and Keshehan enlist Al-Matout's help to read the map which enables them to find the cave. Abu Atiq demands recompensation from Abu Luluah after the donkey that he bought from the latter turns out to be a cursed human.

Gaber takes the magical lantern form Hemdan and claims that he will release him in two days. Gaber sets the genie free and becomes the new genie, giving him powers that he uses to control the governor and Zubaida. Helal is imprisoned after a complaint is filed against him for deception.

Umm Atiq asks her husband to call the town doctor to treat those with bloated bellies to avoid arrest. When Gaber's attempts to bewitch Laila fail, he decides to get rid of her.

Umm Atiq trains the town's women to lose weight. Hemdan breaks out of prison and goes to Al-Matout's house, where he finds Laila. The old witch advises them to put the magic lantern in a whale's belly to end Gaber's reign of terror.

Gaber tries to makes the governor sign off on passing the office over to him. But when Hemdan throws the lanterns in the whale's belly, the curse breaks and Gaber and Musbah run away. As things return to normal, the townspeople celebrate with the governor.
